The streets and alleys in Congshanfang area, were mostly formed in the early Republic of China, with a clear overall pattern. The existing Chinese and Western buildings and architectural complexes, such as the typical Nanyang style buildings on both sides of Minsheng Road arcade street, are not only the typical living space model of Zhongshan in modern times, but also the representative area of overseas Chinese culture and life in Nanguan, Xiangshan Tiecheng.

　　The protection area extends to Tingzi Xiazheng Street- Huangpi Lane in the north, Nanyuan Lane-Minsheng Road in the south, Youshan Square- Shaohuili in the west, and Min'an Street- Baishui Street in the east, covering an area of 6.82 hectares. Among them, the Core protection scope is 6.82 hectares, and the Construction control zone is 1.61 hectares.
