In the recent women's 100m backstroke finals of the 2023 National Swimming Championships in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, Wang Xue'er from Zhongshan Sports School took the crown with a personal best of 58.99 seconds.
Later, Wang joined her teammates to claim another title for Guangdong in the 4×100m medley finals, clocking 3 minutes and 46.35 seconds.
With her excellent performance, Wang has basically secured a berth for the Asian Games Hangzhou 2022.
Wang Xue'er, born in Anqing City, Anhui Province in 1998, was enrolled by Zhongshan Sports School in 2009 for swimming training, and afterwards was recruited by the provincial swimming team of Guangdong for her outstanding performance.
So far, Zhongshan Sports School has trained nearly 15 swimmers to the provincia team and 5 to the national team. And four coaches of the school once won national champions in their career.
