Changzhou Drunk Dragon Show is held in Western District and attracts a large number of photographers.
It was the eighth day of the fourth lunar month yesterday. As an important part of the fourth Drunk Dragon Festival, Drunk Dragon Show was held in Changzhou Village Western District. Director of Zhongshan Organizing Department Lei Biao was present at the ceremony. As national intangible cultural heritage, the Drunk Dragon culture was introduced in the second half monthly of Chinese Fork Customs magazine this April.
Drunk Dragon Show is a traditional folk dance, originated from Song dynasty, thriving in Ming and Qing dynasties. In June of 2008 it was put on the list of national intangible cultural heritage. Changzhou Village of Western District would hold a Drunk Dragon Show on the eighth day of the fourth lunar month every year.
