Zhongshan has become the promised land for Chinese Women Table Tennis Team, has been selected as the training base seven times out of eight, and witnessed its glory created by one after another generation of women players. To prepare for the upcoming Inchon Asian Games in South Korea, Chinese Women Table Tennis Team came to Zhongshan again to carry out over 40-day closed-door training. During the training, they take time out to take part in warm-up, exchange game, public welfare, and other activities. This is the extension of the affinity between Chinese Women Table Tennis Team and Zhongshan, and also the evidence of Zhongshan’s exploration of a new sports operation mode of being directed by the government, sponsored by the association and supported by the society.
