Professor Mei Quanxi of Zhongshan Hospital of Chinese Medicine won the title of Person of Year 2016 in Science. The selection, beginning in 2002, aims to award science and technology workers who have made prominent contributions to the development of science and technology. The annual selection, now in its 14^th year, has grown into one of the most influential activity in technology circle. 212 experts have been selected as Person of Year 2016 in Science and Mei is only one in Zhongshan to win the honor.
