The exhibition summarizes and showcases Sun Yat-sen's contact with Kang Youwei, Liang Qichao and others in Hong Kong, Xiangshan, Macao, Guangzhou, Foshan, Huizhou and other places.

In Sun Yat-sen's revolutionary career, in addition to his hometown of Xiangshan County, Hong Kong and Macao, many cities in Guangdong Province such as Guangzhou, Huizhou, Foshan, Dongguan, Jiangmen among others were also important areas where he engaged in revolutionary activities. His growth, study and revolution were witnessed by many cities in the province.

Yuan Zhengxi, secretary of the Party Committee of UESTC, Zhongshan Institute, said that the university has successively built such platforms as the Sun Yat-sen Culture Research Institute and Xiangshan Culture Research Institute. A number of teachers have also made fruitful achievements in theoretical research, dance, fine arts, photography, and literature related to Sun Yat-sen Culture and Xiangshan Culture.
