Su Bingtian, a track and field athlete from Zhongshan, was selected as one of Xinhua News Agency's Top 10 Athletes of China 2021.
Su broke the Asian record with a time of 9.83 seconds at the Tokyo Olympics, became the first Chinese sprinter to advance to the men's 100m final in the Olympic Games, and led the Chinese men's 4x100m relay team to secure a fourth place finish. At the National Games, Su Bingtian came in first with a time of 9.95 seconds in men's 100m final, the tenth time he has beaten the 10-second mark.
