October 4 marked the final day of the diving event of the Hangzhou Asian Games. Chen Yiwen, a diver from Zhongshan, won the gold medal in the women's 3m springboard competition with a score of 382 points.
It was Chen's second gold medal at the Hangzhou Asian Games. Previously, she and her teammate Chang Yani won the gold medal in the women's synchronized 3m springboard event.
