The closing ceremony of the 19th Asian Games was held at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium on the evening of October 8.
At the Hangzhou Asian Games, athletes from Zhongshan have achieved an impressive record with seven gold medals and two silver medals, making it the highest number of gold medals and overall medals obtained by Zhongshan athletes in all previous Asian Games.
On September 24, the Rowing Men's Eights (8+) final was won by Team China, and Liang Weixiong from Zhongshan and eight other Chinese athletes claimed the gold.
