Born in Lima, Peru in 1926, she was a very patriotic Chinese Peruvian. And her ancestral home is in Dachong Town, Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province.
In 1969, she contacted the Chinese government under the authorization of the Peruvian government and Peru established diplomatic relations with China in 1971.
China has solidified its position as the top destination for Peruvian exports, holding the top spot since 2010. During this period, exports quadrupled from 5.4 billion U.S. dollars in 2010 to 23 billion U.S. dollars in 2023, representing 36 percent of total shipments.
