On April 5 (Beijing time), at the Diving World Cup in Guadalajara, Team China, featuring Chen Yiwen from, an athlete cultivated by Zhongshan Sports School, and her teammates Chen Yuxi, Cheng Zilong and Wang Zongyan, secured a gold medal in the Mixed 3m & 10m Team event, with a total score of 489.10 points across four rounds. Their victory came with a commanding 72.65-point lead over the silver medalists, marking the Chinese diving team's first gold of the tournament.

On April 6, in the Women 3m Synchronized final, Chinese divers Chen Yiwen and Chang Yani took gold with 323.79 points. Later on April 7, in the Women 3m Springboard final, Chinese diver Chen Jia took gold with 380.55 points, while Chen Yiwen earned silver with 372.90 points.
