China Academy of Social Sciences and Economic Daily recently released in Beijing a joint Report (No. 15) on the Overall Urban Competitiveness of Chinese Cities. According to the Report on China Urban Competitiveness (Guangdong), many indexes of Zhongshan ranked 5th in Guangdong Province and 28th nationwide. Zhongshan's sustainable competitiveness index ranked 45th in China, and 5th in Guangdong Province. Zhongshan's livability ranked 29th in China, and 3rd in Guangdong Province, only next to Guangzhou and Shenzhen.
