Yellow Tabebuia chrysanthemums are now blossoming. On the morning of February 20, golden, resplendent, windbell-shaped flowers were seen swaying in the spring breeze on Yunti Mountain located in Nanlan Town, Zhongshan.

Although it was not a weekend, many tourists still came to see the bright, yellow flowers. Some of them even brought along their professional devices for shooting photos.

“The upcoming one and a half months is the typical flowering period for the Tabebuia chrysanthemum,” said Huang Kehan, who’s in charge of the Yunti Mountain Park. A total of 12,000 cultivars were planted within the park, making it the largest Tabebuia chrysanthemum planting area in South China. “The best time to enjoy the flowers will start in early March,” said Huang.
