Since late March, several lonely elders living in East District had been provided free “take-outs” for free.

It was the “Love Meals Delivery” that the district administrative office launched for qualified aged residents. The service aims to provide discounted or even free meals to elderly people over 60 who are disabled, of no family, or live alone.

Meanwhile, the East District Elders’ Canteen, located in the East District Public Welfare Park, reached completion recently. It will provide regular meal service to elderly in need. It is estimated that over 20 old people living in East District have dining demands.
