On the evening of December 27, the "2020 Cuiheng New Year Concert" was organized at the Zhongshan Studio City in Nanlang Town.

Li Haiying, a renowned Chinese musician and Chairman of the Music Alliance of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao, served as the artistic director and conductor. The Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, a famous Chinese symphony orchestra, as well as top classical and pop music masters and cross-border pop singers, all performed at the event.

2019 marks the 250th anniversary of the birth of German composer Beethoven. At this concert, Li Haiying selected a series of Beethoven's immortal masterpieces and made brand-new adaptations to commemorate this great composer. The pieces also included the theme songs of such movies as Harry Potter,  Mission: Impossible and Superman.

2019 also marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China and the 20th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland. The concert also specially selected classic songs such as "An Ode to the Red Flag", "Song of the Seven Sons" piano playing by Li Haiying, "Lotus Becomes a Family" by Macao singers, and the re-arranged classic salty water song "Pearls in the Sea are Easy to Get".
