Personnel of the Zhongshan Bureau of Ecology and Environment on April 14 used UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) to inspect air pollution sources around the national air quality control monitoring stations in Zimaling Park.
"First of all, we need to look at the map and plan the flight boundary." Inspector Liang Yuankun said that the main purpose of this UAV patrol is to check the distribution points of pollution sources near the national air quality control monitoring stations.
According to the plan, the flight area is about 4 square kilometers. In setting of the flight route, they focused on the patrol of Zhongshan Road where auto repair shops are densely located.
According to ZSBEE's staff, if a UAV detects illegal gas pollution, law enforcement personnel will subsequently carry out on-site law enforcement and detailed inspections.
