The indoor and outdoor phase II renovation of Liu Guangsheng's former residence in Shuchong Village, Beixi Community, South District has been completed and it will be opened at a later date. As an extension of Liu Guangsheng's former residence, Shuchong Village made use of two vacant former residences adjacent to Liu Guangsheng's former residence, and turned them into Shuchong Village Service Center and Village History Hall.

In the Service Center, the rooms in the residence are arranged into a library, reading room and kitchen, which will become a new place for the village to practice civilized culture activities in the future.

The other residence is used as the Village History Hall, which displays the village's construction and development history, restoring the room layout of extensive families in Shuchong in the past, with former farm tools and cooking utensils displayed in the kitchen.

Now, every evening, Xu Cuimin, a member of the young and middle-aged dance team from Shuchong Village, will appear in the front courtyard of Liu Guangsheng's former residence on time to carry out fitness activities and organize charity performances through dancing.

"In the future, we will also organize a group of middle-aged women to make local delicacies here. Together with the nearby Xujing Farm and Litchi Ecological Park, this area will become a Women's Entrepreneurship Innovation Base in South District. In this way, rural memory will generate real productivity," said Liu Luyu, Party Branch Secretary of Shuchong Village.
