On July 18, the "Sun Yat-sen Spirits and National Rejuvenation" seminar, one of the activities of the 4th Zhongshan Forum for Cross Straits, was held in the city convention center.

Experts, scholars and representatives of other relevant organizations from both sides of the Taiwan Straits gathered to cherish Dr Sun Yat-sen, learn, inherit and carry forward his patriotic thoughts, revolutionary will and pioneering spirits, and formulated a landmark achievement of this forum titled "The Joint Initiative of the 4th Zhongshan Forum for Cross Straits".

At the closing ceremony in the afternoon, Peng Qing'en, director of the Cross-Straits Relations Research Center, was entrusted to read out the Joint Initiative that calls on compatriots across the Taiwan Straits to cooperate in building a more beautiful Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
