Starting 8pm on August 12, more than 300 outdoor LED screens at landmark buildings and major intersections in towns and districts in Zhongshan shone bright promoting "Zhongshan Good People" to encourage all the citizens to be kind and enhance urban moral conduct through the power of real-life examples.

After watching the videos of "Zhongshan Good People" displayed, many citizens said that they were touched and felt proud to have so many kind people around in Zhongshan, and also realized that they should have the sense of responsibility to jointly uphold urban moral conduct as Zhongshan's citizens.

Since July 2010, Zhongshan Civilization Office has carried out an activity "Recommending and Praising the Good People Around Us" throughout the city. So far, there have been 566 people given the honor of "Zhongshan Good People", including 47 "Guangdong Good People" and 41 "China Good People".
