Zhongshan lit up for two consecutive days before during the 111th International Women's Day.
From the evening of March 7, many large LED screens and outdoor advertising screens of landmark buildings in towns and sub-districts of Zhongshan were lit up to honor outstanding female representatives in Zhongshan who have made prominent contributions to the development and undertakings of women and children and for those contributing to fight against the epidemic.
These screens displayed images of 36 heroines from different positions. They showed strong dedication and commitment together to contribute to the construction of Zhongshan. Among them, Wang Bing is one of the Top 10 craftswomen in Guangdong; Gao Zheng is an excellent worker contributing to the ideological and moral education of minors in China; Yue Qiaoyun devoted herself to vocational education and cultivating talented individuals who help revitalize Zhongshan; and Ye Xiuhua is a guardian for public health.
