A publicity campaign themed "Greater Bay Area, Greater Future" recently took place in Zhongshan. Nearly 20 central and provincial media agencies, including People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, China Media Group and Economic Daily, came to the Project Department of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, the Zhongshan Tsuihang New District Planning Exhibition Center and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cooperation Platform to conduct field interviews focusing on new opportunities for Zhongshan under the development strategy of the Greater Bay Area.

On April 17, the  "China Along the Expressway (Guangdong)" theme interview campaign visited Zhongshan to learn about the construction of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge and the Guangzhou-Zhuhai section of the Beijing-Hong Kong & Macao Expressway (now known as Guangzhou-Macao Expressway) and their impacts on Zhongshan's social and economic development.
