A creative dress show combining poem and dance performances made debut at Zhongshan Museum on August 7. It unveiled the mystery of ancient Xiangshan culture through poetry, dance and traditional costume performances.

The show was divided into four chapters, all of which were based on the history of the founding of Xiangshan County during the Song Dynasty and the travel stories of overseas Chinese during the Ming Dynasty. It showcased the Xiangshan art elements, such as eaglewood performance, tea art, Xiaolan embroidery, Shiqi songs, ancient poems and classical dance, along with traditional Han Chinese clothing and Xiangshan traditional etiquette.

The creative poem dance dress show is one of the seven major activities of the 2022 Zhongshan Overseas Chinese Culture Festival.
