Reference News and Xinhua's News & Information Center jointly released the Analysis of the Overseas Influence of Chinese Cities (2021) report and the list of Leading Chinese Cities in Building Global Image on December 29, 2022. According to the report, Zhongshan was selected as one of the Successful Cases in International Communication of Chinese Cities. 

Zhongshan conducted international cross-cultural communication through a bilingual short video series My Zhongshan, which covers a wide range of topics, including food and entertainment, urban construction, sci-tech innovation and rural revitalization, all of which have drawn great public attention.
