Thirty-five sailings will be added for in and outbound transport at Zhongshan Port during the seven Spring Festival holidays. If it is the same as previous years, the in and outbound transport peak will arrive from the second day to the fourth day of Chinese Lunar Year. Citizens should plan their journey and buy tickets in advance.

An official of Zhongshan Border Inspection Station told there were over 9000 passengers daily on average during the three days from the second day to the fourth day of Chinese Lunar Year. Therefore the more ships will be added to increase the transport capacity. During the three peak days mentioned above, five sailings will added for outbound voyage each day and three for inbound voyage. During the whole day there were sixteen outbound voyages and fourteen inbound voyages. The passenger traffic will fall from the fifth day to the seventh day and one sailing will be added for both the inbound and outbound voyage.
