State Post Bueau Vice Director Zhao Xiaoguang and his fellows arrived in Zhongshan on 18th for investigation and research on design of the memorial stamps for Sun Yat-sen’s 150th birth year. They visited Sun Yat-sen Memorial Middle School and Sun Yat-sen Former Residence.

Approved by State Post Bureau, Sun Yat-sen’s 150th Birth Year Memorial Stamps is included in the issuing plan for special and memorial stamps. A set of three stamps will be issued on November 12, 2016. As Sun Yat-sen’s hometown, Zhongshan is eager for more Zhongshan elements in the Sun Yat-sen thematic stamps to be issued this year.

Zhao Xiaoguang told the purpose of issuing the thematic stamps was to remember Sun Yat-sen. He hoped that more Zhongshan people would get involved in stamp designing and provide more design options with outstanding value and taste, carrying our memories of Sun Yat-sen and spreading his spirit.
