It's learned that many citizens choose to experience the beauty and happiness of nature by travelling to the quiet old villages or picking up fruits in ecological parks in late Spring Festival holiday.

Shanzhou village, located in Haibin community of Torch High-tech Development Zone, is an well-preserved ancient village in Zhongshan with a history of more than 500 years. It's reported that there were two defensive towers and five Diaolous (watchtowers) in this village, among which are the two famous Diaolous near the New Cultural Square.

Besides, there is a Shanzhou ecological park in the village. The eco-park integrates agriculture, science, education, sightseeing and fitness along with Baihua (a hundred flowers) Garden, peach flowers garden, fishing pond, sightseeing pavilion, lotus pond and plank roads, "Evergreen" old tree and other scenes.
