Zhongshan government held a work conference of “2016 investment of fixed assets & construction of key projects” yesterday afternoon. Mayor Chen Liangxian emphasized that the people concerned should be more responsible and initiative in boosting investment, grasp the key parts of project construction, plan, deploy and implement in advance while fostering stable increase of investment around the key fields, industries, links and services.

Mr. Chen indicates that investment is the support of social economic development, the accelerator of structural reform in supply side, and the prerequisite of implementing the 13th Five-year Plan. It’s a priority of the work to enlarge rational investment, hence the departments at all levels should strengthen the sense of responsibility and urgency and focus on boosting investment with high initiative and great efforts, striving to increase the gross investment, making breakthrough on structural reform and laying a solid foundation for a steady and healthy development of the society and economy.
