Zhongshan Municipal CPPCC Committee holds a meeting with Zhongshan Customs over “collaboration between Zhongshan and free-trade pilot zone”, where they discuss the report on the first draft of the Collaboration, confirming the significance of the project and the notion of being proactive and playing a leading and exploratory role. Qiu Shuhong, Director of Zhongshan Municipal CPPCC Committee and other members attend the meeting.

According the first draft, Cuiheng New District should be the emphasis, the construction of “Imitation and Promotion of off-shore experimental area” should be explored to promote the development of Linhai Industrial Park, the logistics and warehousing industry should be boosted via the development of Zhongshan Bonded Logistics Center, and the mechanism of fostering the development of new industry formats should be established so as to adapt to the “new normal” of the economy.
