Recently, Zhongshan Cuiheng National Wetland Park (trial) has passed the field study, investigation and preliminary examination by experts and has been given approval of being the first National Wetland Park (trial) in Zhongshan.

The construction of Cuiheng National Wetland Park will further improve the west waterway in Hengmen and wetland environment of surrounding areas, efficiently protect and recover the diversity of in-area creatures, improve the ecological environment and efficiency of the wetland, and main the ecological balance, which is significant for safeguarding the regional ecological security, protecting the wetland ecological system of the estuary of the Pearl River and the mangrove lands, and perfecting the protective system of wetland in Guangdong province, which is also the impetus to build a beautiful country and a city of happiness.
