Municipal Civilization Committee held the 1st work meeting on 24th, summing up the progress and achievements made in 2015 and arranging relevant work in 2016. Director of Municipal Propaganda Department Tang Ying and Deputy Mayor Wu Yuexia attended.

In order to establish a happy and harmonious Zhongshan, municipal construction of spiritual civilization is based on carrying out core values of socialism and focuses on establishing a national civilization city and morality cultivation activities. In 2015, 32 theme parks of core values were established, over 2200 propaganda boards and 9,000 signs on respecting and obeying virtues were installed and 12,000 lanterns on core values were hanged in Zhongshan to promote integration of core values into people’s lives. Moreover, brand effects of Zhongshan morality cultivation activities were highlighted as eight Zhongshan people selected in “China Good List”, 5 in “Guangdong Good List” and 58 in “Zhongshan Good List”.
