An electricity saving activity was held on 8 pm, Mar.19, at Yuanyang Daxin Metropolis. Citizens rode five bicycle generators to produce electricity. It is reported that Zhongshan Power Supply Bureau of China Southern Power Grid established an electricity-saving service center in 2011 to call on citizens to save electricity in daily life. The experience activity held during the Earth Hour period is expected to remind citizens of the hard work behind electricity generation, so as to spread the idea of electricity-saving.
