The founding of Guangdong Academy of Sciences Zhongshan Extension greatly increases the innovative capacity of Zhongshan and fuels the industrial upgrading with new power. Guangdong Academy of Sciences, directly subordinated to Guangdong provincial government, set up last June, belong to the top provincial academies in China. Zhongshan signed an agreement with the Academy ahead of other cities last December and establish the first academy extension among all prefecture-level cities.
