The Conference on Work of Taiwan was held on Mar.30. Principal leaders including Liang Lixian and Yang Wenlong attended the conference.
Recent years have seen a steady growth in the exchange and cooperation between Zhongshan and Taiwan. Liang underscored the importance of Zhongshan as the birthplace of Dr. Sun Yat-sen and asked departments at all levels to play the card well.

The conference stresses the need to intensify efforts for the upcoming Straits Forum (Zhongshan) and the 150th anniversary of Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s birth. It also calls for efforts to be made in accelerating exchange and cooperation in various areas and creating a start-up industrial park for the youth across the Straits.
