Led by Zou Jianping, the vice-chairman of Nanjing Municipal Political Consultative Committee, a delegation from Nanjing arrived in Zhongshan on 4th April and signed a cooperation agreement on cultural and educational exchanges to enhance mutual communication between two cities. Chairman of Zhongshan Municipal Political Consultative Committee Qiu Shuhong attended the meeting and made discussion on series activities of the 150th anniversary of birth of Sun Yat-sen.

It is reported that the Municipal Political Consultative Committee of both cities will carry out various exchanges on historical accounts of Sun Yat-sen, including expanding range, innovating ways and enriching content of collection and editing of related materials, to take full advantage of important functions of work of literature and history and better promote Sun Yat-sen culture. In addition, a special “High-speed train trip of Sun Yat-sen Culture” has been jointly planned and initiated by Zhongshan Municipal Political Consultative Committee, National Minister of Railway, and several mainstream media to realize cooperation and double win, and the activity has received great support from Nanjing Municipal Political Consultative Committee.
