In the Digital Reading Conference held yesterday in Hangzhou, Zhongshan, together with 9 other cities, has been honored Top 10 Digital Reading Cities. Vice director Xun Shoushan of State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of The People’s Republic of China presented plagues to representatives from the winning cities.

The organization committee hailed the robust development Zhongshan scored in digital reading, commenting that Zhongshan, as an important source of China’s contemporary culture, boasts of a profound culture unique to itself and in recent years, it did a great job in encouraging public reading by launching 28 programs to promote digital reading.
