Vice Mayor Yang Wenlong called for further cooperation with South Africa when meeting with Daryl Swanepoel, president of The African National Congress Progressive Business Forum of South Africa yesterday.

Yang said, in the recent few years, Zhongshan has made quite an endeavor to boost bilateral trade, including setting up in South Africa an exhibition center of Zhongshan-made products. Yang also hoped that quality products made in South Africa could make its way into Zhongshan market and even into the market of the Pearl River Delta region through Zhongshan.

Daryl thanked Yang for his hospitality and said that his delegation showed a great interest in cooperating with Zhongshan, hoping that more Zhongshan-based enterprises will set up their manufacturing base in South Africa.
