In order to further carry out the national and provincial strategic plan on accelerating development of new energy vehicles, Zhongshan has released a series of relevant policies and supportive measures based on the practical situation and greatly encouraged people to buy and use new energy vehicles.

Zhongshan has planned to implement the application program of new energy vehicles in the following three years by progressively promoting usage of 500 micro-calculation buses, 2,200 social rental vehicles, 2000 new-energy official cars, and 2,000 logistics vehicles and setting up supportive charging equipments to upgrade the application environment for new-energy vehicles and establish Zhongshan a demonstration city in new-energy vehicle application.
