The planning to build Sanxiang and Shaxi into a National Eco-civilization Demonstrative Town has passed an expert review in mid-April, adding ZS’s potential demonstrative towns to 4.

So far, 4 towns – Dongfeng, Xiaolan, Sanxiang and Shaxi – have accomplished the construction planning and passed an expert review. Dongfeng, the first in ZS as well as in Guangdong Province to have finished the planning, will go through the final examination of provincial and national environmental protection departments before being honored as an eco-town.

In addition, Nantou and Shenwan are actively preparing the construction planning.
