To further advocate Sun Yat-sen Spirits among young people, Zhongshan Experimental Middle School launched a series of activities to mark the coming 150th anniversary of Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s birth. Chairman Qiu Shuhong of CPPCC Zhongshan Committee attended the opening ceremony held on Wednesday.

The commemoration activities include: setting up a class named after Sun Yat-sen, shooting a documentary on Sun Yat-sen, inviting experts on Sun Yat-sen to give lectures to students, and etc. The lecturer group is quite eye-catching, composed of Chairman Qiu Shuhong of CPPCC of Zhongshan Committee, Honorary Chairman Sun Bisheng of Association for Sun Yat-sen Studies, and scholar Li Hanchao on Zhongshan’s folk culture.
Qu hailed the commemoration activities as an important step to systematically advocate Sun Yat-sen Spirits.
