Zhongshan, together with Shunde and Shenzhen, ranks the first in the water quality assessment, according to a report on how well the Clean Water Project was implemented in Pearl River regions in 2014. The report was released by Southern China Institute of Environmental Science, Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People’s Republic of China. This is the first time for the authority to publicize the result of the annual assessment of Clean Water Project.
