The 5th congress of Zhongshan Students Union was held in the Municipal Meeting Center on 2nd May and municipal secretary Xue Xiaofeng was invited to deliver a speech on value of youth. Minister of the Municipal United Front Work Department Liang Lixian also attended.

Xue Xiaofeng pointed out that as successors to the socialist cause of Chinese characteristics and the most sensitive barometer of different eras, the youth’s value orientation plays the most essential role in deciding the whole social values. Furthermore, on their starting step toward the society, the youth should achieve their goals step by step and make sure the right development orientation of their future by adhering to positive believes, identifying their exact position, and persisting in optimistic values.
