International Nurses Day (IND) is celebrated around the world every May 12, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birth. The IND theme for 2016 is: Nurses: A Force for Change: Improving health systems' resilience. In response to the changes happening to medical model and people’s need for health, nursing care marched with times in ZS. The emergence of new services like nurse-led clinics and community nursing practice has greatly changed the medical service. Nurses do far more than just giving injections, and administering any medication prescribed by the doctors; they also help people prevent diseases, recover from illnesses, treat diseases and relieve patients from pain. The 21st-century nurses are playing a more important role in the medical sector.
