“Our festival – the 150th anniversary of Sun Yat-sen’s birthday and 2016 Guangdong-Hongkong-Macau “Xian Dan Shui” genre poetry seminar” is to be held in Leisure and Culture Square in Western District during the Dragon Boat Festival and Drunk Dragon Cultural Festival. The activity is held by CPPCC Zhongshan School, Poetry Composition Committee of Guangdong Writers’ Association, Guangdong Speech Association, Zhongshan civilization office and Western District office. Qiu Shuhong, president of CPPCC Zhongshan Committee accompanying directors from Guangdong Speech Association and the relevant units in Zhongshan came to the Western District yesterday afternoon, where they arrange the evening, inspect the performance venue and encourage everyone to give their best to the show and to present a great performance to Zhongshan people.

It is learned that, poems related to Dr. Sun Yat-sen and Dragon Boat Festival, composed by poets from Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macau and Zhongshan, would be presented during the evening. The programs featuring festival aura and local culture such as the Drunk Dragon dance and folk music performance will also be staged then.
