More than 37 thousand articles of clothing donated by 87 departments under direct administration of Zhongshan Municipal Government were handed over yesterday afternoon to Zhongshan Bank for Donated Clothing. Meanwhile, the "Setting green boxes in government departments" activity was kicked off.

2016 is the second year for the "Green box: clothing donation" activity. More than 5 thousand Party members and volunteers in government departments have donated over 37 thousand articles of clothing since the start of the activity in May. The donated clothing will be given to poor families, migrant workers in industrial areas, and people in cities and counties to which Zhongshan provide counterparts support in poverty-alleviation.
