The cruise of Piaose (traditional Chinese Floats) yesterday closed with a splendid golden dragon lantern performance. As the saying goes, “crossing the golden dragon brings good luck”, therefore many tourists and villagers race to walk through it.

Yakou Piaose (traditional Chinese floats), as one of the Zhongshan folk activities, was held in Yakou village, Nanlang town yesterday morning and attracted countless tourists. Unveiled on the same day, Yakou Piaose Exhibition Center is to display the related materials, properties, photos and references, and represent the history and cultural connotations in various means such as sounds and lights. The exhibition center is not very large but informative, covering the information such as crew of a Piaose group, explaining the terms of Tou Pai (first banner), Tou Luo (first gong), Cai Qi (colored flags), Luo Shan (silk Umbrella), Se Gui (Colored box), Se Xin (float core), Se Jiao (float foot), Se Geng (float stalk) and the characteristics of Yakou Ban Long (dragon lantern).
