Zhongshan regional final of the 12th "Happy Sunshine" China Children's TV Singing Competition was held yesterday evening at Zhongshan Youth Palace. The final was sponsored by Zhongshan Youth League and Zhongshan Young Pioneers' Working Committee and was organized by Zhongshan Youth Palace. The competition, which is known as "The Voice of China" for children, is the top one of its kind in China. 44 child singers compete in the final after standing out from 200 competitors in preliminary competitions.

"Happy Sunshine" children's TV singing competition is sponsored by People's Music Press which deals with original music, publication of vocal music textbook, and children's vocal competition. The "Happy Sunshine" competition which attracts about 20 thousand participants has picked out numerous music talents.
