The survey panel arrived at Gangkou Town Game Base yesterday afternoon.

China Democratic League proposed on development of industrial tourism and specialized towns in Zhongshan during Zhongshan’s NPC and CPPCC sessions. It was selected as a major proposal. Municipal leaders Wu Yuexia and Situ Weizhan led teams to survey on the proposal in Gangkou Town.

Zhongshan municipal government has clearly mentioned in this year’s task to develop two major industrial tourism—Dachong Mahogany Expo Center and Guzhen Town Light Culture Park. Zhongshan Tourism Administration, Dachong Town government and Guzhen Town government all list these projects in performance evaluation. They set the goal and plan to build a national 4A scenic spot. Towns get positioned based on their features. Their positioning is made based on considering town features, cultural elements and aims to develop a new tourism pattern.
