Shaxi Public-Interest Park was open to the public on the morning of June 2. It is built with the purpose of public interest and the participation of volunteers to provide diversified services for the public. Liang Lixian, a Standing Member of CPC Zhongshan Committee and the director of United Frontier Department inaugurated the park at the opening ceremony.

The park is located in Shengshi Village of Shaxi Township, built by both the municipal administration and township administration. The first floor is used for Service Center for the Elderly of Shaxi Township; the second floor for Social Resources Exchange Center, park offices, Shaxi Traditional Culture Experiencing Room; the third floor for public and charitable entertainment and recreation, as well as social organization incubators.
