As reading is a way of living, the 9^th Book Exhibition is to kick off on Jul.14 and 60 activities are in plan to provide citizens with a luxurious cultural feast.

This year’s Book Exhibition epitomizes a general concept of culture, including not just traditional books, cultural industry, educational training, animation creation, digital technology, but also reading competition, graffiti competition and cartoon design completion. The book reading section alone will occupy an area of 4000 cubic meters. Writers, artists and educators in different fields and of different age will be invited to give a lecture or have a signing ceremony. Zhongshan Bureau of Culture, Broadcasting, Television, Press and Publication?the organizer of the Book Exhibition, has stepped up efforts to promote reading by injecting 2 million ren. The exhibition will be held from July 14-18 in the main venue and from Aug.11-13 respectively in the two sub venues in Xiaolan and Sanxiang.
