The preparatory work is almost accomplished accordingly. Now the 2188 cherry trees of rare varieties have been transported from Shandong Province to Zhongshan City, waiting for the opening day to demonstrate their stunning beauty. The number of trees and varieties is said to be double that of last year. Besides the rare varieties, this year’s carnival features diversified ways to view cherry blossom, such as in a cable car or at night.
